A year into this eZine’s existence, it has been most often filled with the words of two writers, myself and Robin Holstein. When she asked me if she could interview me for her Holstein House podcast recently, it was the first time she and I had spoken in person in years.

She asked one question, for me to summarize my path since she and I first encountered each other 20+ years ago. My answer was much like my career, winding, twisted, and long-winded. (LOL)

From magic tricks to Chicago, our return to WV, from BA to MFA, ten years with Two-Lane Livin’, and life as a library director. I enjoyed taking a trip down memory lane, and in doing so, blessed to have someone who has kept track of me on my path, just as I have watched her follow her own path - often with amazement.

Two West Virginia writers, creators, businesswomen, who’ve been at it for more than two decades. It was nice of Robin to ask me to share my story.
