Soon, sleeping will be possible without sweating. Cool nights & crickets are on the horizon. I can hear the popping of tomato jars. Yeah, I know everyone tells me to turn on the A/C and get some sleep. I cannot deal with the noise. I can sleep with crickets and screech owls. Not with A/C running. Besides, I wouldn’t be able to hear what or who is sneaking around.
The gardens are winding down; hopefully, the cellars & freezers are full. It is now time to start thinking ahead to pleasant days afield.
